Description
The Walmart Category Advisor is responsible for developing and executing category growth strategies that balance the needs of Central Garden & Pet and the Customer(s).
They will set direction on category performance drivers (AMPS) from an omni approach. They will ensure growth ideas are developed with shoppers at the center and evolve along with the needs of the shopper.
Candidates must be curious, passionate, energetic, and self-motivated with the ability to support multiple branded companion animal lines for strategic growth.
Reporting to the Vice President of Pet Consumer Insights & Category Management, this position will be in-office-based in Bentonville, AR
In-office working environment, Bentonville, AR; frequent use of phone and PC; required overnight business travel up to 20% of the time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Expert on Category health (WHAT) and on shoppers (WHO) and shopper behavior (WHY); Responsible for developing 1) a vision for category growth.
2) A clear plan & path to get there. 3) Actionable and measurable execution that delivers joint growth.
